European Lessons for Ireland's Climate Law

This report draws on EU and national experience of climate change law to evaluate key elements of Ireland’s proposed Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Bill. It concludes that significant amendments are needed to the bill if it is to be genuinely effective in driving Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
